Midnight Random Thoughts #5

  • Phoenix Suns didn't make it to the NBA playoffs. It was so close, that's why I couldn't just let it go even though my other favorite team, Houston Rockets, did it. Still, my number one team, the first NBA team I've ever supported, is Suns. Their performance was improved a lot from last season, where they only won 25 out of 82 games. This season they won 48 games, which was so unexpected. Like I said, Suns are an underdog team. Their improved performance amazed the whole NBA and the audiences.
  • And it will be a really long time to watch Suns in the regular season again. October! Argh.
  • So, yeah, I will still watch the playoffs even without Suns. I support Rockets for the playoffs. And no, I'm not a bandwagoner. First time watching the NBA, I was so confused whether to support Suns or Rockets, since I love Goran Dragic and Chandler Parsons. I decided to support both--but as the time goes by, my love for Suns grows more. Good luck for the playoffs, Rockets! You better do good.
  • A few days ago, I watched Dexter series finale. Thoughts? It was a bad, lame, and disappointing ending to an amazing TV series. As a fan who had followed the series since 9th grade (that would be 5 years now), I was very disappointed.
  • My favorite seasons of Dexter are the 5th and 6th season. Maybe because the main antagonists (Jonny Lee Miller and Colin Hanks) are my favorite actors? That's one solid reason.
  • Recently, I have a new hobby: making memes. Maybe I will post some of them here, but just so you know, most of them are NBA memes because, well, I'm kind of addicted to it.
  • Fargo, the new FX series, IS REALLY GREAT! At least, the pilot episode was awesome. Can't wait to watch more (they only have 10 episodes). Aw, jeez!
  • Re-watching Supernatural from season 1 now. I really miss the time when I was fangirling to the Winchester brothers a lot.
  • I'm addicted to Bastille, like I explained here. I don't know, I just love Dan Smith's voice (and his somehow adorable, awkward, handsome face--plus that wild hair, oh man!).
  • Somehow I'm glad that I watch Saturday Night Live every week. If not, I wouldn't have known Bastille. And Bill Hader. And Seth Meyers.
  • I'm also starting to love American Authors. And this is because I watch every episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers and they were once the musical guest in one of the episodes. They have easy listening songs. Listen to their whole album on repeat in short time will make you think about those songs all the time (and hum them wherever you go) haha.
  • I really want to meet Goran Dragic.
  • My hard disk is broken. So is my world.
  • I love Bastille's music videos. Just check them out on YouTube. I think they have some of the best music videos ever.
  • Somehow I really wish that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was still alive, so that I could thank him for creating one of the best fictional characters ever, Sherlock Holmes.
  • I honestly don't care what people think about me.
  • After almost a week wondering, I finally know who Darri Ingolfsson (the guy who played Oliver Saxon in Dexter season 8) looks like. Zoran Dragic, Goran's younger brother! Maybe just the eyes, but yeah I do find out that they look alike in a flash.
  • I think I'm one of the people who like to name their stuffs. And I think I always give them the cheesiest cool names, some taken from my favorite celebrity, detectives, movies, even athletes. Yeah, that means I'm not really creative for making names.
  • My God, I'm so confused about my tasks. Either it is really confusing, or I'm the one who's not paying attention. I hope it's the first.
  • I found the Dragic brothers (Goran and Zoran) don't look alike. What is wrong with me?
  • My youngest brother just turned 9 and I still haven't bought a gift for him, whereas I already decide a gift for my other brother, whose 16th birthday is still on June. I'm such a messed up sister.
  • And I'm still homesick.
